The channel and role manager lets you manage your server’s channels and roles without opening Discord. Create, edit, reorder, and delete channels and roles directly from the BrewBot Dashboard.
Required permissions
The bot needs the following Discord permissions to manage channels and roles:
- Manage Channels — create, edit, reorder, and delete channels
- Manage Roles — create, edit, reorder, and delete roles
Without these permissions, the bot cannot make changes to your server’s channels or roles. Make sure the bot’s role is positioned above the roles it needs to manage.
Manage channels
Go to the BrewBot Dashboard, select your server, and open the Channel and role manager page. From here you can:
- Create new text, voice, or category channels
- Edit existing channel names and settings
- Reorder channels by dragging them
- Delete channels you no longer need
Manage roles
From the same page, switch to the Roles tab to:
- Create new roles with custom names and colors
- Edit existing role permissions and settings
- Reorder roles in the hierarchy
- Delete roles you no longer need
